It is a tool to manage Apache Hive, Apache Tajo, Amazon RDS, CUBRID, MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, SQLite, PostgreSQL, MongoDB in Web Browser.
Do you feel uncomfortable to install and manage various DB tools for each DB?

You don't need to install software in your local because 'Tadpole' uses web server(if you use 'war').
(But, you can install it in your local if you want.)
